Project description 

GIBB was appointed to provide design, contract administration and construction supervision services.  The project was originally designed in the early 1990’s.  The preparation of tender documents was commissioned in 1995 and tenders were called for in 1998.  These were adjudicated and recommended, and an award was made. The project forms part of the overall upgrade of the Mliba-Madlangampisi-Tshaneni Road (MR5).  The current phase involved procurement of a contractor, and construction supervision of the bridge over the Black Mbuluzi River and 1.4 km of access roads.
