OR Tambo International Airport : Upgrading of and Construction of New Taxiways Service Roads and Structures for Code F (A380) Aircraft Compliance






The project comprises multiple phases which consist of the upgrade of  various internal and external service roads (R27 million), the rehabilitation and upgrade to Code F (A380) compliance of Alpha, Bravo and India Taxiways (R105 million), and the rehabilitation of Delta Taxiway (R4.6 million).  Current phases include the development and design of various new Code F (A380, etc) compliance of new extended Taxiways (±7 km) and new internal access/services roads (±R300 million) which are in design and construction stages.  Various underpass and overpass structures, to be upgraded and/or newly constructed (2 No), form part of these projects.
